Distractions

I’m still at the editing game, but at this point it’s more of a rewrite.  I’m trying to stay focused, but one of my other works, and in particular one of my favourite characters, is becoming something of a distraction. I want to complete Sins of the Father, but I’m impatient to move on to Mixed Messages and as the two genres are completely different it isn’t a good idea to mix. I don’t want to rush, but I don’t want to edit half-heartedly either. It’s a dilemma. May not seem much but it sure is causing a problem at the moment.

On a more positive note, I’ve finished a synopsis for Sins of the Father that I’m quite happy with, so I will post that this week and any comments are appreciated.

Thanks for listening to me rabbit on. I’m sure many will have experienced the need to spend more time with a certain character, whether that’s one they’ve created, or that they’ve read about. Sometimes they can be like an old, familiar friend…or it feels like that to me.

Until next time

Mel 🙂

I’d love to hear from you.
