Here we go…the first day of the next fifty thousand words! I managed to churn out almost one and a half thousand words. It was a long day, waiting for midnight to strike. The moment it did I was full of such nervous energy my fingers couldn’t keep up. I swear I saw steam coming from the keyboard.

I was going to stay up and keep going, but I’ve decided that, since I wrote so much in the first hour or so, I’ll get a little shut eye and pick up where I left off.

I’m sure this buzz will wear off somewhat, but for now, I’m feeling up to the challenge.
