Not your run-of-the-mill Superhero

Some of you might know that I don’t write poetry unless I’m either challenged or psych myself up for it! Since Paul Burgess gave me a friendly challenge to write a Limerick, I decided to take him up on it. Paul has some crazy mad skills when it comes to poetry, and he favours the Limerick, so I’m hoping this hits the spot 🙂

It’s based on a character I’ve been dragging around with me for quite a while (Lance Legion), and I’m particularly fond of him.

I hope you enjoy it.

Not your run-of-the-mill superhero

    1. Thanks, Callum. You’re right, I really enjoyed the challenge of it. I’m so glad you liked it, and it’s a real compliment when someone with your skills can appreciate what I was trying to do 🙂

  1. I am so thrilled you gave it a shot! It turned out nicely, and now I am curious to learn more about this hero:) I like the idea of a superhero limerick put to music as the hero’s theme song;)

    1. That sounds like a fabulous idea, though I think I’ll leave it to someone else! I love Lance, he’s a constant presence and I don’t mind a bit. Thanks for commenting 🙂

    1. Thank you, that’s a huge compliment. I know it isn’t particularly funny, but it doesn’t come naturally to me, as it clearly does to you and I’m proud of what I did with it 🙂

I'd love to hear from you.
