Sweet Serenity: Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge #52

This week, the prompt words for Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Challenge are SILENT and LOUD.

The example provided by Ronovan:

You bring silence out,

Over the noise of the world’s moans,

Cacophonous dins ring.

If you’ve never tried out a haiku before, and you’d like to learn more, click here to read Ronovan’s article on how to write a haiku poem in English form.

I’ve used the badge this time, to display my haiku contribution. It was designed by Ronovan to honour Meredith from Meredith’s Musings in this anniversary edition, as Meredith has contributed to the challenge from the first week.

Thank you for reading and thanks, as always, to Ronovan for providing us with this great opportunity.

Haiku has made its way into the mainstream and even into parody. To read a beautifully crafted haiku, though, is something different all together.

More great haikus, Mel 🙂 It’s fantastic to see how much you are clicking with this medium.

Haiku’s seem perfect for posters–like the one you did. Nicely shared.

Awesome haiku. Really like how powerful it is.
