A Year of Change

It was quite a shock to realise I haven’t posted anything since 2022, but then last year was a year of change and it all came at once. Well, that’s not strictly true, the major life events were spread out across the year but thank goodness for that, because as far as stress goes my ‘bucket’ was at times overflowing!

This time last year I was renovating my house in readiness to move back home and start a new chapter. I also had a milestone birthday and a wedding. And if that wasn’t enough, I quit my job at the end of the year.

The start of 2024 has already brought more change. I’m now a freelance interpreter, mostly working remotely, which has been a huge benefit because it has allowed me to focus on my latest novel. Warrior’s Promise, the third in the Collective series, will be released later this year. I will post updates over the coming weeks.

One of the things I’ll be focusing on this year is sharing more stories, and perhaps a personal adventure or two, on the blog.

As will be obvious from the image, I’ve also had time to play with Lego, which I absolutely love to do!

Until next time, thank you for stopping by

Mel
