I was stood in a queue earlier when a thought struck me about a story I’ve been playing around with (mostly inside my head). So I pulled out my trusty notepad, grabbed a pen and started to scribble it down.

I was consciously aware of the noises around me but I just zoned them out. It wasn’t until after that I realised it was an odd time and place to be struck by inspiration.
