This post is dedicated toย my fellow bloggers, the people who read, comment and support me in all I do.

In particular this is for Mishka – A Writers Life For Me (Harliqueen)ย who, not only offers support and encouragement, but who alsoย nominated me for theย Versatile Blogger Award. Thanks, Mishka, sincerely. It thrills me to know that you enjoy my blog. Sharing my writing with like minded people, people who understand me, and more importantly understand my need to write, makes it all worthwhile.

As an avid reader I try to explore as many blogs as I can. I have so much to learn, but in this last few months I’ve met some incredible people. There’s so much more I need to do, so many ways I need to develop, but I’m not alone and I’ve enjoyed every step of the journey so far.

I’m always looking to improve my blog, and will endeavour to make it more visually pleasing. It’s not always about the words, and a good picture can complement a post. So here’s my attempt at sprucing things up a little.

Thank you

As per the rules for being nominated, here are seven things about me:

1. I am a total geek. I love Marvel and DC Comics, and would love to attend a Sci-Fi convention!

2. The Missing Link (my fourth novel) was inspired by a real life incident – a close friend of mine died in similar circumstances.

3. I am an Idealistic Dreamer (thanks Chris Donner for theย intriguing post, by the way).

4. I suffer from insomnia.

5. I have two amazing daughters, who are my light, and my joy (this should have been number 1).

6. I currently live in a largeย house with several members of my family (grandmother, mother, two sisters, nephew, and daughters). A house which used to be home to a practicing witch!

7. My brother is in the Army, and the inspiration for Sins of the Father and Hands of Evil – both in the Morgan and Fairchild series.

The following are blogs I would like to nominate for the Versatile Blogger Award.

We must both look like a couple of jokers then! My face still hurts! Hi to the family – it can be a busy, chaotic household, but so much fun ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Mel for your nomination. I am honoured that you have chosen me. The thing that I love about these awards is that you are given a new group of people in your other nominees to go and visit, some of whom you have not yet visited and as they come recommended by you are most likely other people that you will enjoy seeing their postings. Thank you once again and congratulations yourself as you well deserve it.

You’re very welcome, and I completely agree – from recommendations I’ve found some gems. Yours is a site I particularly enjoy to visit.
