Share Your World
I love this journey; getting to know my fellow bloggers and creating a community to share not only my work, but a part of myself. With this in mind I’d like to participate in Cee’s Photography – Share Your World: Writing Challenge.

Each week, Cee asks four questions to enable us to ‘share our world’. ThisΒ time the questions are linked to what we do in our ‘down-time’. That’s all things related to being a couch-potato. Do you lay like broccoli, be still like a vegetable? Jiggle in your seat with excess energy, or fall into a deep slumber the moment you sit down?Β Here are my answers to this weeksΒ fab four.

What is your favorite couch potato activity: readings, watching movies, watching sports, napping, anything on TV, computer games, play cards, or other? When I give myself a break from the computer, or running around after the kids, I usually catch up on all the things I’veΒ recorded (got to love Sky+)My favourite shows (all from the US) are; Castle, Haven, Elementary, Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, NCIS Los Angeles, NCIS, Hawaii 5.0, Grimm, The Following, Supernatural – the list is varied and exceedingly long! I do participate in other things (honest).

What is your favorite toppings on pizza? I’m not a fan of pizza. I know, I know, who doesn’t like pizza? I can live without chips too (or fries), and I don’t particularly like fish and chips (maybe I’m not British!). On the occasions I do eat pizza it’s usually a meat feast of some description.

What is is favorite genre of movie or book? My favourite type of movie is sci-fi – I’ve already admitted to being a geek. But in books my tastes vary considerably. I read anything from the Times to the back of the Cornflake box, from Bronte to Mills and Boon*! I never leave the house without something to read. *there’s nothing wrong with a good romance.*

Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake first? “Caaake, man I love the cake!” I’ll eat the frosting if it’s on there – but I’m not a frosting kind of gal either so I wouldn’t choose to eat it first. I don’t take apart my food (I’m funny that way). My daughter’s eating habits are more interesting than mine. When eating a sausage roll, she eats the pastry and then the sausage (who does that?).

One of these days, I’ll give a straight answer! I enjoyed the questions this week, so thanks, Cee.

As ever, thanks for reading.

Mel

I do the same as your daughter – eat the pastry first and then the sausage. Sometimes I don’t even eat the sausage just the pastry. I do the same with pies as welll. Eat the lid, then the contents of the pastry bowl and then the pastry by itself last.
