Thanks once again, Cee for some challenging and fun questions this week. I always enjoying taking part. Here are my responses to this week’s Share Your World challenge.
Would you prefer a reading nook or an art, craft, photography studio?
Surprisingly Iβm going to say studio. Iβm an artist at heart and I love to dabble in a variety of projects. The idea of a space where I can let go and explore my creativity sounds pretty wonderful. Iβd have a corner to feed every aspect of my artistic nature. There would be an old, battered desk where I could write to my heartβs content, and maybe Iβd have the best of both worlds and have a secret nook in there too!
Would you prefer the TV in the living room or another room?
Iβd be tempted to put it in my dream studio, but that would be far too dangerous. I have a habit of avoiding the editing process, as many of us do, so the TV would be the perfect procrastination station!
Iβll stick to the living room, in front of my trusty couch, so I can have my guilt-free marathons and catch up on my favourite programmes.
What color would you like your bedroom to be?
Yellow. If I could, every room would be yellow, because it makes me happy. The colour of the sun, of hope, of happiness, of health, of wellbeing. Yep, youβve got to love yellow! Maybe instead of peeling myself out of my pit, Iβd spring up and shout βGood morning, sunshine,β instead of my usual grunt.
Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?
Interesting question. It would certainly be easier to have everything on one level. Ideally, my studio would be separate, so Iβd have to physically leave the house. Now Iβm obsessing aboutΒ an imaginaryΒ studio and where Iβd put it.
Perhaps if I had multiple levels I could make my home a living adventure, with secret nooks, featured themes, and at least one of the floors painted yellow.
Bonus question: Β What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
My girls, Iβm grateful for them every day. Itβs the first thing that pops into my head whenever Iβm asked the question. Iβm also grateful for my new writing community. They understand me, my need to write, my moods and even, my sense of humour.
In the forthcoming week, Iβm looking forward to eating pancakes, writing up a storm, reading new posts, a girly night (or two) and getting to sleep before 2am at least once!
Thank you for allowing me to share my world.
Until next week.
Mel
