Share Your World

Thanks, as always, to Cee, for the thought-provoking questions.

It’s time to share my world!

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

Mindful

If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?

Before we get to those guys…how hard was the first question? Describing something in one word – it’s excruciating (well, okay it stung a little). I know it’s a prompt, and not meant to be taken literally, but still.Β  You know the expression β€˜never use two words when one will do’ It haunts me! Also, β€˜you can drown a thought by expressing it in too many words.’ I think the ship sank on that one a long time ago πŸ™‚

So, the hundred people… it’s all relative. My life is highly satisfying; I have two beautiful children, a supportive family and friends, and I get to travel to different worlds in my head. I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t imagine anyone having a life more satisfying, unless I were them and then I’d have completely different things to be satisfied about!

If you were a tree, would you become a book or furniture? Please describe.

A book; with corners turned over, spine slightly bent, pages fading here and there and a few creases on the front. How wonderful to think of the joy you could bring to so many lives. Either that or a freshly bound book with blank pages so I could contain and keep safe someone’s precious words. Β

You are trapped in an elevator, who would you want to be trapped with?

An elevator mechanic, I hate being stuck in confined spaces! No, seriously…it wouldn’t be too hard to spend time with my friend, Tony. He’d take my mind off my discomfort, and have me singing away my nervous energy in no time. That’s a reference for Moonlighting fans (show with Bruce Willis in the eighties).

Bonus question: Β What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful for the contributions and support of my online friends, people who make my blogging experience worthwhile. In the coming week I’m looking forward to reading more from my favourite bloggers and hopefully making some new friends.

Thanks, as always, for creating an outlet. My daughter read my answers earlier… she said ‘that’s not funny!’ Pressure from a fifteen year old πŸ™‚
