Share Your WorldIt’s been so long since I took part in Cee’sΒ Share Your World challenge, and I’ve missed it. The questions are always entertaining, and this week I had a blast!

If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know)

Robert Downey Jr. – I find his crazy genius fascinating. I’d probably invite a co-presenter on to ask the serious questions though. Just in case my crush turned me into a mindless zombie incapable of stringing a sentence together. Perhaps he should bring in the suit just in case. πŸ™‚

Β

Bear Grylls – I’d spend the three hours (it is my show), listening to his many adventures and humerous observations on life. It’s the only way I’ll get to experience some of the crazy things he’s accomplished. Maybe I’d have a co-presenter again, in case he challenged me to take part in one of his trials!

Β

Stephen Fry – Without wanting to sound like the mindless zombie, I love his brain. He has such wonderful, dry humour too, and I’m sure he’d have the audience eating out of his hand.

What can you always be found with?

A pen. Not much of a talisman, or a weapon (unless I poked someone in the eye with it), but I’d panic if I didn’t have it with me.

What is the most fun thing you did in school?

I didn’t like school very much, so the most fun was probably the days I managed to avoid it!

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I’m really annoying. I rarely use abbreviations, and all my commas have to be in the right place πŸ˜‰

Β Bonus question: Β What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful for my blogging friends. They’ve been particularly supportive this week. Since I began my blogging journey at the beginning of the year,Β Callum and Miskha, in particular, have been a bottomless well of support and encouragement.

Β

Β I have a week off next week, so I’m looking forward to the rest!

Thanks for reading

I used to be like you and always spell things out…my legal secretary training. But over the years I stopped doing it for the most part. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you, as always, for providing the opportunity. I’m getting better at the text thing too, though I have to force myself to relax!

Great choices for your guests! It was a very nice surprise to see my name mentioned at the end as well. I’m glad to have been any sort of help or support in your exciting writing journey.

Thanks πŸ™‚ It’s important to have people we can rely on, those we can turn to when we need advice or a word of encouragement. I’m lucky, and I like to give credit where it’s due.

I hardly ever abbreviate things. And text-speak drives me crazy. πŸ™‚

I know exactly how you feel! I’ve had some texts I didn’t even understand – I had to piece things together like code πŸ™‚

Same here. It drives me crazy when I get texts from my daughter because she’ll misspell things and then be like, “Oh, well! Whatevs!” But she’s 11 going on 17, so there’s no telling her anything.

Oh, the teen years…Have kids, they said…It’ll be great, they said… πŸ˜€ πŸ˜›

They distracted us I think…talk of the terrible twos and transitions! When you’re at the receiving end of the teenage attitude you suddenly regret not taking up yoga or learning to meditate! πŸ™‚

      3. Kay Kauffman Avatar

I’ve finally finished with the terrible twos, but I’m smack in the middle of the troublesome threes and am revisiting the fearsome fours, in addition to having two pre-teens on my hands…

Meditation? What’s that? Sounds a bit like free time to me… πŸ˜›

Ha! Knew there was a reason I haven’t looked into it yet πŸ™‚ I have one teenager and one preteen so the twos, threes and fours are a distant, happy memory!

I’m looking forward to having potty training and temper tantrums behind me once more.

Well, maybe I’ll still have to deal with the temper tantrums, but they seem to get quieter once the kids hit kindergarten, and I can live with that. I just have to remain in denial about the teen years and I’ll be good to go. πŸ˜€

Great choices for your guests, especially Stephen Fry! πŸ˜€
