If we were having coffee I’d be ready for a cup of the good stuff because I’m looking after Z-man this weekend and he had me up at 4am. I’d tell you that I’d forgotten what it’s like to have a toddler in the house, even though it’s not so long ago my daughters were running me ragged. I just feel ancient (must be the lack of sleep!)

I’d catch up on your news, and try to savour my coffee because my nephew is napping. I’d have skipped coffee today, but I enjoy catching up. Plus, I wouldn’t be able to rest anyway – not with so much on my mind.

If we were having coffee I’d tell you I’m looking forward to the A-Z challenge, and have made a list of writing related A to Z posts I plan to create as a β€˜dummy run’ over at Writing Room 101. I’m developing the site, so the series will serve two purposes. There will be more resources and I’ll be able to familiarise myself with the process in time for April. The theme on my own site is different so it means double the work, but I’m sure it will be worth it.

I’d end on a positive note and bid you farewell as you head over to Diana’s place and join the party over there. But not before I’d wished you a happy weekend, with the promise I will be better company next week!

Thanks for stopping by

Mel

haha…I’m also ready for a cup of the good stuff today. It’s noon and I still can’t get myself properly woken up and motivated!

I know that feeling, though because of the time difference I’m longing for my bed and it’s only 6pm! Enjoy your day πŸ™‚

I’m bypassing coffee completely today, with the excuse that my body needs sleep to get rid of this cold. Suppose that will only hold if I actually sleep some.
    Happy Weekend to you!

Oh the way kids suck out all the time in the day. It’s great when you’re the parent. I don’t know about Aunt or Grandma. We’ll see.

Being an aunt definitely has its advantages – I see them more clearly when I’ve slept!

I was up way earlier than normal so I’ve had coffee, blogged, taken a nap, and am now on cup number 2 and round 2 of blogging! I know how you feel. When I watch my grandsons overnight I cannot sleep (just thinking that they might need me and I won’t be able to wake up) so I am just useless the next day! Hope tonight is better!

you were excellent company. My coffee posts are usually short and sweet with some breathtaking pictures. I’m hoping the pictures will make up for my lack of talking. πŸ˜‰

I wish I could talk about them, just so I can get feedback on the actual idea…it’s all very hush hush! Thanks for stopping by – I’m heading over to your place for coffee now! πŸ™‚

This reminds me, I have to start putting together my A to Z posts. I can’t wait to see your posts. Good luck with the toddlers. They can be a handful.

Thanks for stopping by, Patricia. My nephew is back home again and I’m free to catch up on the tasks I neglected (though what I really want to do is sleep!). I’m looking forward to reading your A to Z posts too πŸ™‚

Thanks for the coffee! I’ve seen a lot of coffee-sharers doing A to Z posts, where do you get that from? I hope you enjoyed your time with your nephew!

I really enjoyed it, but I’m exhausted – hence the fact I’m so late this weekend! I will drop by for coffee soon and catch up πŸ˜€ You can find more information about the blogging A to Z challenge here – http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/ It will be my first year, but it sounds like fun!
