30 Days of June ImageEarlier in the month I announced a break to the daily prompt series, due to the fact I will be taking part in a blogging eventΒ in June.

IΒ created a special feature instead and have created theΒ 30 Days of June – a prompt for each day of theΒ month.

To find out more click here.

As a taster of what you can expect, I’ve posted the first three days below:

30 Days of June
1 June 2014

We all have our favourite characters, but there are some who take us completely by surprise. Whether we expected them to roll over and die quietly, play a part and then exit stage left, or just make our protagonists look good – the resultΒ is the same. Against all oddsΒ they’ve decided they’re here to stay. They are the ‘die-hards’.

Prompt: Write a letter to your favourite die-hard.

2 June 2014

You volunteer to take part in a trial to test a new drug. After theΒ third dose you start to exhibit unusual side effects; ones that were not in the manual.

Prompt:Β Write a story based on the above theme.

3 June 2014

We all have our favourite television programmes, ones we know so well we can predict the outcome in any given situation. Imagine if you woke up and realised you were a character in that programme – which character would you be and how would you react to the new environment?

Prompt: Write a scene to explore the answers.

I hope you enjoy the prompts. The regular daily series will return on the 1 July 2014.

Thanks for your support.

I like that june 1st one. There are a few things I will like to tell one of my characters, she is sooooo difficult.

πŸ™‚ I know the feeling. I could write a dozen letters! Maybe you should work out your frustration by taking part and getting it off your chest! Thanks for the comment.

Another exciting project. I don’t know how you come up with them all! πŸ™‚

I felt guilty about taking a break, so found the perfect solution – a prompt series special. It means I’m still providing the prompts, but I don’t have to worry about posting on a daily basis. The normal series will be back in July, but this was really fun to create – so it’s a win-win! Thanks for commenting.

No need to feel guilty; it seems you still put a lot of work into your ‘break’ anyway πŸ˜‰ There’s plenty of prompts here to keep people busy πŸ™‚

Thanks, Callum. I’m actually taking part in a blogging event, so the break will probably be a lot of work πŸ™‚ I appreciate your support, as always.
